On Day 2 of the Sydney Pink Cricket Test, I created a work to be sold at auction to raise money for the McGrath Foundation.
Twelve artists took part in this initiative and were/will be stationed around the SCG on the first three days of the test. Some of the artists taking part include Michael Bell (Lambton, NSW), Kirsten Smith (Newtown, NSW) and Julie Hutchings (Grafton, NSW).
All works by all the artists involved will be sold online from Day 4 (January 6) of the test until 8:30pm on 12 January. Click here to find out more information about bidding for the artworks as well as donating to the McGrath Foundation.
It was a great day all round and was a lot of fun seeing Pointing make 100 and Michael Clarke reach 251! See me working away under the big screen here:
